Asus U1F-1P016E

-February 4, 2008-
I predict laptop manufacturers would focus their attention more on smaller and thinner notebooks. MacBook Air was surely a big hit in 2008, followed by Toshiba Portege R500-11J and R500-11I. Earlier (on December 2007), Asus released their own unique product, U1F-1P016E. Yep, this is a 2.7 pounds laptop with 11" screen size.
The LED backlighting and fluorescent lighting are the reasons why I like this laptop. With these important features, you can enjoy all the images and fonts inside the small monitor. If usually it's hard to read fonts in other 11" laptops, U1F-1P016E fixes this negative issue. The fonts are brighter thanks to the LED backlighting so although the fonts are small but they are still readable.
The design and the keyboard look promising as well. Asus is an expert laptop designer and U1F-1P016E doesn't disappoint me at all. The keyboard is also enjoyable. The features are excellent, it has three USB ports, a FireWire port, SD slot, a fingerprint reader, and of course a built-in webcam. Unfortunately, Asus U1F-1P016E doesn't have any DVD burner. It is also expensive and its specification is not promising enough.
