Dell Inspiron 1525

-January 10, 2008-
Don't be fooled by this pic. Dell Inspiron 1525 is not a high-class and expensive laptop. In fact, it is a very cheap laptop with price tag less than $1,000. Dell tries to get into the cheap laptop market, which is conquered by Acer. They hope Inspiron 1525 could create better image for them.
Dell Inspiron 1525 can be considered as the renewed Inspiron 1520. As we all know, Inspiron 152x products are designed for people who only want to buy cheap and effective laptops. Dell Inspiron 1525 wants to steal these people's attention. What I like most from this product is its size and weight. With only 6 pounds, Dell Inspiron 1525 is lighter and smaller than XPS 1330 and 1530.
The thickness is also awesome, only 1"-1.4". Dell Inspiron 1525 seems work very well as a mobile laptop because it has four USB ports, dual layer DVD drive, and a webcam (2 megapx resolution). Of course it also uses FireWire port just like other laptops.
