Fujitsu Lifebook P8010

LifeBook P8010 breaks some limits for its predecessors. Different with the earlier P series, P8010 is lighter, has better design, bigger size, and longer battery life (over 5 hours). Its price tag may be looks expensive ($1,800) and the performance may be looks not convincing enough, but if you are looking for a reliable ultraportable laptop, of course P8010 should be on your list.

The most unique thing from this laptop is its weight. Despite P8010’s size is 11.2”x8.4”x1.4”, but amazingly its weight is less than 3 pounds. However, Fujitsu has sacrificed a lot of things to make this thing happen. P8010 only uses Intel Core 2 Duo L7100 (1.2 GHz) and the storage capacity is not bigger than 120 GB. Well, you should think twice because this laptop’s performance is not strong enough for $1,800 in your pocket.

Well, I always prefer laptop with big and comfortable keyboard. If you are just like me, maybe you’ll agree that the keyboard in P8010 is not good enough. But if you never consider this as a big problem, then let forget this thing. About additional features, P8010 puts dual-layer DVD burner, 3 USB ports, 1 FireWire port, 1 fingerprint reader, and four-in-one card reader.
