Gateway P-6831 FX

-March 4, 2008-
Usually a laptop with 3 GB memory, eSATA port, and Nvidia GeForce 8800 is very expensive but Gateway P-6831 FX comes with revolutionary idea. This laptop is arguably the cheapest laptop with 3 GB RAM memory and GeForce 8800. We have compared P-6831 FX with Dell XPS M1530 and some other popular laptops and this laptop surely has caught our attention.
Gateway P-6831 FX has better performance than XPS M1530 and Qosmio G45 if we talk about playing games. Beside games, P-6831 FX is also better for multimedia softwares (although P-6831 FX is not good enough with Adobe Photoshop). With only $1,400 (even less), you can get a high-tech gaming laptop. Better believe it. Sadly, Gateway uses Intel Core 2 Duo T5450 (1.6 GHz) which mean this laptop is not well-powered.
Except the processor, I think everything is okay with P-6831 FX. It's not expensive, has huge memory, uses great graphics card, and has better battery life than Gateway P-170L QS despite this laptop has lower screen resolution. About data and networking features, P-6831 FX has 3 USB ports, eSATA port, mini-FireWire port, Ethernet, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and a DVD burner tool.
